This Collage combines different materials and techniques to create a cohesive composition.
The color orange dominates the collage, creating a monochromatic aesthetic that evokes a sense of warmth and vibrancy. The use of various shades and tones of orange would add depth and dimension to the artwork, enhancing its visual impact.
Texture would play a significant role in this collage. The fabric used would introduce tactile elements, adding a three-dimensional quality to the artwork. Different types of fabric are incorporated to create a diverse range of textures, from smooth and glossy to rough and textured.
The magazine clipping would contribute to the exploration of light within the artwork. By carefully selecting and arranging the clipping, I create a play of light and shadow, mimicking the interplay of light on different surfaces. The glossy finish of the magazine pages could also reflect and refract light, adding a dynamic element to the composition.
The combination of fabric and magazine clippings would create an interesting juxtaposition of materials, further enhancing the textural and visual contrast within the collage. The arrangement and layering of these elements resulted in a visually engaging artwork that invites the viewer to explore the interplay of texture and light within the monochromatic orange palette.
